SKILLING PROGRAM
While the urban youth from challenging economic backgrounds have access to basic education, they lack the skills that make them employable, thus creating a significant gap between their existing skill sets and the skills required to make them job-ready.
To tackle this challenge, PJC Foundation built a model skill center in Mumbai, focused on empowering this segment of youths and individuals who are looking to skill, reskill or upskill themselves by providing them with the opportunity to not only acquire real world, employable skills that are relevant today but also provide a safe space for them to learn and aspire for a better life unhindered by the challenges of their circumstances. This modern infrastructure currently houses over 100 students across five different skilling courses that are most relevant to the job markets of today.
The skill centre currently imparts skills for –– Beauty and Wellness, Hair Styling, Advance Computers, Retail, and Electronics
The entire operational cost is taken care by the Foundation.

The entire operational cost is taken care by the Foundation except for the initial registration fee of Rs. 2500, which is one-tenth the cost of comparable courses.

The course imparts training in Beauty and Wellness by bridging the required industry gap and creating a talent pool for jobs
HAIR STYLING
The course offers professional training to create hairstylists who will specialize in hair care treatments
RETAIL
The course provides a collaborative and comprehensive training required for sales and distribution.
ELECTRONICS
The course offers field technician knowledge for repairing AC and Home Appliances.
ADVANCED COMPUTERS
This course develops a skill ready workforce for Customer Relationship Managment(CRM)
